Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen will undergo a fitness assessment on Thursday to determine his availability for the away match against Trabzonspor, Turkish journalist Serhan Türk has reported.

Türk said the Nigerian forward is not fully ready because his injury has not completely healed. He expects Osimhen to travel with the squad to Trabzon, but said a decision on whether he will start in the first eleven will be taken after the examination.

The club confirmed he is receiving treatment but did not give a return date. Turkish reports indicate the injury could keep him out for up to three weeks, ruling him out of three matches across all competitions.

The final decision will be made by Galatasaray's medical staff and Buruk after monitoring Osimhen's workload over the next 48 hours. They will assess his response to training before deciding if he starts, features from the bench, or is held out.
