Nigeria's Super Eagles have landed in Bissau ahead of their second Group L fixture in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau. The team touched down at the Osvaldo Vieira International Airport on Sunday evening ahead of the scheduled encounter. 

The arrival was confirmed by team media officer Promise Efoghe, with head coach Eric Chelle leading the travelling contingent. Tuesday's match will be played at the Estadio Nacional 24 de Setembro in Bissau, with kick-off fixed for 5 p.m. Nigerian time.

The Eagles departed Uyo after a closed-door training session on Sunday morning at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium. According to the itinerary, the squad assembled at the Victor Attah International Airport around 2 p.m. before departing for Bissau at 3 p.m. They head into the trip on the back of a 2-1 comeback victory over Madagascar in their opening qualifier on Friday.

Guinea-Bissau will also enter Tuesday's game with confidence. The Djurtus opened their campaign with a 2-0 win away to Tanzania in Zanzibar and currently sit top of Group L on goal difference, with Nigeria in second. Both teams are chasing back-to-back wins to take early control of the group in the race for a place at the 2027 finals to be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
