Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen has spoken with head coach Okan Buruk about returning to action in the club's away fixture against Trabzonspor, according to Turkish media reports.

The discussion was reported by Sabah and shared by FutbolArena. The Super Lig match is scheduled for next weekend at Trabzonspor's Papara Park.

Osimhen has been sidelined after sustaining a groin injury during Galatasaray's win against Başakşehir. He has missed the club's last two games across all competitions due to injury, including the 3-1 Champions League defeat to Sporting Lisbon last Wednesday and was not part of the squad against Kocaelispor on Sunday, a game Galatasaray won 1-0 at RAMS Park. 

Speaking to Beyaz TV, Buruk said Osimhen will be back in action when they face Trabzonspor and that the striker will probably be ready for the match.

The fixture is regarded as a key test for the defending champions as they prepare for a busy run of games. Trabzonspor are also looking to rebound after their own league defeat.
