Transfermarkt has lowered the estimated market value of Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen from €75 million to €65 million. Naija Football Daily reports.

The Nigerian forward, who joined the Turkish club permanently from Napoli, remains the most valuable player in the Süper Lig despite the adjustment. The change appeared in the site’s latest player profile update and was highlighted by Turkish sports accounts sharing side-by-side screenshots of the old and new figures.

Transfermarkt cited Osimhen’s recent groin injury problems as a main reason for the drop. Last season, he missed several matches due to various setbacks. This campaign he has already been forced to sit out three important games following a groin strain sustained in early September that kept him out until the end of the month.

The valuation team also noted that his previous figure stood well above the typical range for players competing in the Turkish top flight, a factor that influenced the new assessment.

Osimhen continues to feature as Galatasaray’s primary centre-forward and Nigeria international. The 27-year-old’s contract with the Istanbul side runs until 2029.
