Atlético Madrid defeated CA Osasuna 4-0 at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano in Madrid on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. The LaLiga Round 6 match saw Diego Simeone's side dominate from the opening whistle. 

Canadian forward Jonathan David opened the scoring in the 24th minute, Lee Kang-in doubled the lead in the 54th, defender Robin Le Normand added a third in the 63rd from a corner, and Alex Baena sealed the victory in the 82nd minute from Johnny Cardoso's assist.

Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, 28, started on the left wing and led the attack with five chances created, the highest tally in the game. He recorded 45 touches and a 7.6 rating before being substituted in the 68th minute, with his heatmap showing heavy activity in the final third. 

He headed over from Lee's cross early and received a yellow card in the 50th minute. Atlético finished with 20 shots, 11 on target, 69 percent possession and eight corners, while restricting Osasuna to just three attempts.

The win came without Julián Álvarez, sidelined with a muscle problem, and Alexander Sørloth through injury. David became the first Atlético player this century to score in his first two LaLiga appearances and added an assist for Lee's goal.
